NCL Board  - in addition to what I shared with members below about the
strategic planning follow-up session we had this past Wednesday, I wanted
to share the recording with you in case you want to listen to it.  As I
mentioned, we'll be doing some plan shaping at our next board meeting, so
want you to have as much information as possible for our discussions.

Have a nice weekend.

An Alliance Supporting Adult & Family Literacy, Adult Education and
English Learning

NCL Members...

We had a great discussion at Wednesday's virtual follow-up session as NCL
continues its strategic planning.  We discussed many critical issues facing
the organization and the field (what should the "literacy" focus be for the
National Coalition for literacy, if and how NCL should move forward with
advocacy, who are the stakeholders NCL should be working with, etc.) and I
appreciate those who attended and participated in these
important conversations, as it's important for a coalition to move forward
with a collective effort and through consensus of our members.

Attached are the slides and the summary of this session for your review.
Since I was facilitating and not able to monitor the chat, it was so
beneficial to read through the comments afterward.  Thank you AI
Companion.  :)

As I mentioned, we'll post these questions on the NCL Strategic Planning
Hub so that members can continue to offer input on these matters - they are
not there yet, but they will be by Monday:

Have a nice weekend!
